Product Analytics Engineer – Fintech

Job Title: Lead Product Analytics Engineer (City of London, 3 Days On-Site- Fintech)

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a key member of the team based in the City of London, you’ll manage a team of Product Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers, driving the definition, measurement, and presentation of metrics. You’ll ensure the delivery of data pipelines and self-serve analytics, ultimately enabling actionable insights.

In your role, you’ll be responsible for delivering analytics for a product vertical. You will scope work, implement deliveries, mentor team members, and set an example by providing impactful insights and analytics.

You’ll contribute to product road maps through data-based recommendations, continuously identifying high-impact areas for improvement. Ensuring accurate data collection and modelling to produce relevant business insights will be a critical part of your role.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrable experience building measurement frameworks and validating results using quantitative methods, including experimentation.
• Experience in delivering data warehouses, self-serve analytics tooling, and data products.
• A strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert ambiguous problems into structured, data-informed solutions.
• Proven experience in collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels, setting expectations, prioritizing, and scoping analytical delivery.
• Leadership experience in supporting and coaching team members, as well as delivery planning and management.
• Core analytics skills, including data interrogation with SQL/Python, data modelling/engineering, applied statistics (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression), and hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
